Hemmelig Humor

Mai 2019

For my bachelor thesis I made a dynamic identity focusing on how flexibility in design can make the client an important part of the creative process and final visual impression.

Hemmelig Humor is a comdey show where intimite stand-up routines are being held in private homes, and the identity of the performers are being kept secret right up untill showstart. Its visual identity needed to mirror the flexible nature of the show and let the concept of private homes shine, allow for great freedom to make creative content, and keep production of posters, wayfinding etc relatively cost-free.

By taking all this into account, I made an identity based on a simple rule where two white squares placed on any square shaped motive or object creates the illusion of the letter H. It is aiming for a non corporate-like visual expression, and takes a look at the creative relationship between designer and client.
